At ValOre, our objective is to contribute to the social and economic development of sustainable communities associated with our operation to ensure a legacy of improvement that will continue beyond the life cycle of the mine. We aim to inspire, build confidence, and empower local individuals to realize their full potential and drive positive, long-term change.
We support our local communities and their sustainability through measures such as development of capacity building programs, locally sourcing goods and services, sustainability through recycling, employing local people and support for local cultural initiatives
ValOre engages local community champions to foster positive and lasting impacts in the areas where we operate. These individuals play a key role in building transparent and trusting relationships with neighboring communities by ensuring open communication, accessibility, and consistent engagement.
Our initiatives are grounded in environmental responsibility, ethical practices, community support, and economic development, reflecting our commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth.
Additionally, ValOre established strong and long lasting partnerships with the municipality of Pedra Branca including the Secretariat of Education, Sports and Health. We have also partnered with Centec (Instituto Centro de Ensino Tecnológico – CE) to bring technical training programs to the community of Capitão Mor.
